Game Of Thrones Showrunners To Write And Direct Dirty White Boys
They have the most expensive and most-watched series in HBO's history in the palm of their hands, so it is no surprise that Game of Thrones creators and showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have other creative plans in store. We're hearing today that duo plan to partner on writing and directing duties for a film adaptation of the crime thriller, Dirty White Boys. They're signed on to adapt the novel for Fox, but the project may not see much progress until after they wrap up their Emmy-winning HBO series.

Rosemary’s Baby Set For Mother’s Day Premiere On NBC
Well, here's a twist that none of us were expecting. NBC's four-hour adaptation of Rosemary's Baby, starring Zoe Saldana, Suits' Patrick J. Adams and Jason Isaacs is going to hit the airwaves sooner than expected. You can call it a premature birth if you want to keep with the baby puns, since the TV special only began its production in January. Despite the short shoot time, the network announced today that the telefilm of Rosemary's Baby will air its first half from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 11 - coincidentally, Mother's Day - and its second part in that same time slot on the following Thursday, May 15.

Draft Day Review
The NFL Draft is so inherently exciting for sports fans that to release a “ticking clock” thriller about the day leading up to the event feels less like a good story idea than a way to generate excitement for the upcoming event, while cramming in as much team merchandise as the producers will allow. Draft Day, a new film from director Ivan Reitman, is only intermittently exciting and boasts few surprises, as well as a flat performance from Kevin Costner.

Jeremy Irvine Climbs Aboard Stonewall, Roland Emmerich’s New Passion Project
Jeremy Irvine is a British actor who always seems to be on the cusp of breaking out internationally, but doesn't quite manage to do so. The actor snagged the male lead in the big-screen version of War Horse and a 2012 adaptation of Great Expectations, and is drawing rave reviews for a supporting role in this April's The Railway Man, also starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth. Thankfully, his anonymity could soon change, as Irvine is now joining the cast of Stonewall, a new film from Independence Day director Roland Emmerich.

Larry Kramer's fiery 1985 play The Normal Heart, which was revived on Broadway in 2011, is on its way to be one of HBO's most prestigious projects in 2014. Based on the efforts of activist Ned Weeks in the early 1980s to create an HIV advocacy group, The Normal Heart also focused on the members of the angered gay community in New York during those years, as the AIDS crisis was about to become part of the national conversation.
