The midseason finale of Arrow ended on a pretty massive cliffhanger, as we were left to wonder whether or not Felicity will survive being shot by Damien Dahrk's men. Well, the promo above confirms that she does, but her life is clearly going to be left hanging in the balance when The CW series returns, as a revenge hungry Oliver Queen tears through Star City on a quest to take down his new foe.
Up until now, it's been widely assumed that the Robin murdered by The Joker before the events of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was Jason Todd, just like in the comic books. However, there have been a lot of very interesting rumours (The Batman being an adaptation of "Under the Hood") and crazy theories (Dick Grayson becoming the second Joker a la The Dark Knight Strikes Back) about Robin's role in this world that have led to a lot of confusion.
The CW has released a brand new trailer for DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and it's packed full of epic footage from the highly anticipated Arrow/The Flash spinoff. This preview features the introduction of yet another threat for the ragtag team of heroes and villains, someone who Captain Cold describes as "Boba Fett" (who would have ever guessed he's a Star Wars fan?).
Very little is known about what we should expect from Wonder Woman, though a couple of new set videos may have shed some light on at least one scene from the movie. As you can see, they feature Gal Gadot's Diana Prince and Chris Pine's Steve Trevor making their way through World War I era London, but the most interesting thing here is the fact that the actress is wearing the same cloak as the one we saw in the first official image from Wonder Woman.
Earlier today, an expletive laden video was released featuring the Merc with the Mouth promoting his upcoming Empire Magazine feature. However, that didn't really give us a very good look at Deadpool, so it's a good thing that the publisher has now officially released it during a week they promise is going to be packed full of fresh content from the highly anticipated movie.
Earlier today, we brought you the news that Christopher Nolan was planning a WWII epic called Dunkirk for his next film, and that it would be based on his own original screenplay. Now, Variety has caught wind of the first bit of casting news, as they report that the director is eyeing Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh for the supporting roles.
The first official still has been released from the upcoming Assassin's Creed movie, and it features a new look at Michael Fassbender and Ariane Labed suited up and looking ready to assassinate someone. Along with the photo, which comes to us courtesy of EW, we also get a bit of insight into the adaptation from Fassbender, who says that they're "striving to find something special."
The CW has released the first official images from the pilot episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, giving us our best look yet at the highly anticipated Arrow/The Flash spinoff. As well as putting a focus on the team which will be assembled by Rip Hunter, the stills also offer up a idea of the kind of team-ups we should expect to see in the series.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens may be all that anyone is talking about right now, but we'll no doubt be dissecting Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice very soon and in just as much detail.
As expected, Star Wars: The Force Awakens hit the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office today, toppling Jurassic World's record by doing so in twelve days. After breaking the Christmas Day record, the movie went on to gross an incredible $153.5 million at the North American box office this weekend, taking its domestic haul to $544.6 million.
