The CW has released a brand new trailer for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and it’s packed full of epic footage from the highly anticipated Arrow/The Flash spinoff. This preview features the introduction of yet another threat for the ragtag team of heroes and villains, someone who Captain Cold describes as “Boba Fett” (who would have ever guessed he’s a Star Wars fan?).
Here’s the official synopsis for the series, which is set to debut in a little over three weeks from now:
On Thursday January 21, The CW kicks off a new night of action and adventure with the highly-anticipated series premiere of DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW. When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself.
Legends of Tomorrow has the potential to be the best DC Comics TV show to date, and trailers like this one make it easy to get excited for.
