THR is reporting that James Cameron, along with DMG Entertainment and Studiocanal, will be re-releasing Terminator 2: Judgement Day in digitally remastered 3D next year. While I don't think anyone was particularly asking for this, especially after the abysmal Terminator: Genisys made a lot of people lose interest in the series, it will still be nice to see the groundbreaking sequel hit theatres again looking all shiny and polished.
With all the hype surrounding Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it'd be easy to forget that there are several other very exciting films that are headed our way in the near future. In July 2016, Paul Feig will bring us the much-anticipated Ghostbusters reboot, which stars Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig and Leslie Jones. With production currently underway, a brand new image of the core cast has been released, showing the leading women striking a pose in full costume.
It's no secret that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is absolutely going to destroy the box office this weekend. It could very likely be the highest grossing film of all-time, especially as it's being universally praised by critics. In fact, already J.J. Abrams' movie has made over $100 million in pre-sale tickets. That's more than any other film in history.
So, it's almost here. The release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens is upon us. Critics have seen it, and audiences are about to experience it in just a few days. Surprisingly, almost all of the movie's secrets have been kept under wraps. However, there is one interesting tidbit that's now emerged thanks to the eagled eye critics over at HitFix.
If the fact that it was recently given a full season order by CBS wasn't proof enough, look no further than Supergirl getting its own tie-in series for proof that it's going to be sticking around for the long haul. Like Arrow and The Flash before it, DC Comics are launching a digital series which will take place in the world of the TV show.
We're only in the second day of #12DaysOfDeadpool (which culminates with a new trailer on Christmas Day), and things have already got weird! While yesterday saw the release of a brand new poster for Deadpool, today has seen Ryan Reynolds striking some rather ridiculous poses on the standee for the movie which is currently in theaters across America.
Jennifer Lawrence has made no secret of the fact that she's not a huge fan of the hours it takes to go blue as Mystique in the X-Men movies, and while she may not have had a whole lot of choice as an up and coming actress in X-Men: First Class, the star of The Hunger Games franchise seemingly had more of a say in X-Men: Apocalypse!
Most of our favourite comic book TV shows don't return until late January/early February (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. isn't back until March), but Supergirl will swoop back onto the small screen in the first week of the new year.
While everyone's focus is currently on Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it's easy to forget that Star Wars Episode VIII is around a year and a half away from release. With that in mind, it's hardly a surprise that Rian Johnson is now putting together his cast, and it appears as if the latest addition is Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is now just days away from release and anticipation is obviously at an all-time high. With the review embargo not lifting until extremely late on Wednesday night, it's clear that Disney doesn't want any spoilers from the movie to find their way online over the next few days, and fans hoping to go into the movie completely unspoiled are best off avoiding social media altogether this week.
