As we get closer to the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it's hard not to be concerned that Disney and Lucasfilm are going to ruin the movie by revealing a little too much in an upcoming TV spot or poster.
A new promo has been released today for the upcoming crossover between Arrow and The Flash, and it features some very fun interactions between the two heroes. As well as seeing them preparing to suit up, the video above also offers up a glimpse of the duo battling it out with Vandal Savage, a villain set to make his presence felt in a huge way in this corner of the DC Universe.
Following the departure of Edgar Wright, Paul Rudd and Adam McKay teamed up to work on his and Joe Cornish's Ant-Man screenplay. A number of major alterations were made (The Wasp was added as was The Falcon), and now that the movie has grossed over $500 million worldwide, you have to believe that Marvel Studios is keen on reuniting Rudd and McKay for 2018's Ant-Man and The Wasp.
The Captain America: Civil War trailer was even better than expected (you can watch it again here if you missed it), and it made it clear that the theme of the movie is very much going to be betrayal, as Captain America and Iron Man end up on very different sides of The Accords, the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of the Superhuman Registration Act.
With Michael B. Jordan finding a huge amount of success in recent years, Fantastic Four was something of an unfortunate blip on the radar for the Creed star. After playing The Human Torch in the critically panned reboot, no one would blame the actor for never wanting to near a superhero movie again, but it turns out that his experience on the Josh Trank helmed film hasn't soured his perspective on the genre too much.
When Warner Bros. decided to start developing Supergirl, it was widely assumed that the series would end up on The CW. However, wary of becoming a network known only for its superhero properties, they passed, hence why Supergirl ended up on CBS instead. The show being on a different network obviously dramatically reduces the chances of a crossover, but it sounds like that may be about to change.
The first season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow has plucked a number of heroes and villains from the worlds of Arrow and The Flash for season one, but most excitingly will add Hawkman and Hawkgirl, two characters set to first appear in next week's crossover between the two CW shows. That begs the question of which other new additions future seasons of the show could add.
Deadpool's marketing campaign is unique to say the least, so it probably shouldn't come as a surprise that Ryan Reynolds has Tweeted out a new promo image of the Merc with the Mouth celebrating Thanksgiving in a typically unexpected style. The photo was accompanied by a message which, well, pretty much just goes to show why Deadpool is going to be R-Rated.
Andrew Garfield was unceremoniously dropped from The Amazing Spider-Man franchise when Sony scrapped plans for two more instalments and a Sinister Six spinoff that the British actor was also set to star in.
A blockbuster movie gets a PG-13 rating, big deal right? Well, in the case of the Star Wars franchise this is actually a rather big deal! You see, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is only the second Star Wars movie to get that rating, with Revenge of the Sith previously the sole instalment which wasn't PG (likely due to the violent final battle between Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker).
