Last week in the NFL I got off to an amazing start, picking both the Steelers and Packers on Saturday. It looked like a perfect week after the Bears beat the Seahawks, but in the final game of the week the Jets defeated the top ranked Patriots to leave me at 3-1 for the week. It’s fine, the Jets deserved the win based on the play of the cornerbacks and the amazing catch by Holmes. This week I hope to improve on my 5-3 overall record thus far in the playoffs. Once we get this far in the playoffs every game is must see TV.

Why is it that some NHL games are worth 2 points and others are worth 3 points? Why does the losing team team get an automatic point for making the game more exciting and going to overtime?
Just a few short years ago the New York Knicks seemed like they could do nothing right, going through disgruntled player after disgruntled player. The Knicks haven’t had a winning team since the days of Starbury! Now, not only are the Knicks an impressive 16-9 at 6th in the Eastern Conference, they are currently on an 8 game winning streak.
Last week UFC commissioner, Dana White, made a claim that fighter Georges St-Pierre is the most famous athlete to ever come out of Canada. This statement instantly raised the question, what about Wayne Gretzky?
