Last week in the NFL I got off to an amazing start, picking both the Steelers and Packers on Saturday. It looked like a perfect week after the Bears beat the Seahawks, but in the final game of the week the Jets defeated the top ranked Patriots to leave me at 3-1 for the week. Once we get this far in the playoffs every game is must see TV.

Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Dion Phaneuf has been a great contributor to the Leafs' dismal 14-19-4 record which puts the team 4th last in the league. This season the current Leafs captain has given Leafs fans very little to cheer about. Phaneuf has been a liability offensively, defensively, and a letdown physically.
Why is it that some NHL games are worth 2 points and others are worth 3 points? Why does the losing team team get an automatic point for making the game more exciting and going to overtime?
