Lindsay Sperling has A.D.D. and her tastes reflect it. Her movie collection boasts everything from Casablanca to John Tucker Must Die to every season of Sons of Anarchy to-date. She adamantly supported a Veronica Mars Movie (yes, she did make a donation to see it happen..and also possibly for the t-shirt), hopes that the Fast & Furious franchise continues far into the future, and has read every popular YA book series turned film in recent years (except Harry Potter..). When she's not on an indie film set or educating the youth of America, she uses her time arguably productive as a freelance writer.

The 100 Review: “Murphy’s Law” (Season 1, Episode 4)
The 100 continues to narrow down its expansive list of characters in "Murphy's Law." At first, the simple act of teenage rebellion orchestrated by Bellamy (Bob Morley) raised alarms for those monitoring the teens, but now the situation on Earth has become slightly more jarring for everyone involved. Besides having to deal with the lingering side effects of the nuclear disaster that once forced humans off the planet (e.g. the Hunger Games-esque acid fog), the 100, minus a few, are now on the defense against the aptly nicknamed Grounders - a group of people who apparently survived the toxic atmosphere and remained on the ground for all this time.

Beauty And The Beast Returns To The CW This Summer
After the CW put its sophomore drama Beauty and the Beast on an indefinite hiatus last month, fans engaged in a unsatisfying debate through social media about what that meant for the future of the show. The network still hasn't officially commented on whether BATB will be renewed for another season, but they have announced, via their website, that the series will return this summer for the second part of season two.

Justified Season Finale Review: “Restitution” (Season 5, Episode 13)
Season five of Justified is a wrap, and although it carried with it a certain subtle charm, the most exciting aspect of this season may very well be what's coming next. With only one outing left to go, the series is looking to tie up loose ends before sending Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) off into the sunset that is southern Florida, and it's surely (crosses fingers) going to make for some compelling television come next winter. Too bad the writers couldn't have come up with a more kitschy way to spend this season, which seemed more like a vast state of limbo for our gun-toting cowboy-esque Marshall than a stepping stone toward anything tangible. In retrospect, season five will go down as a small offering in a larger frame of reference.

Justified Review: “Starvation” (Season 5, Episode 12)
Justified has taken a different approach to dealing with the fallout of recent events. Instead of stretching out retribution, the writers have opted for more immediate gratification. On the heels of Art's (Nick Searcy) near-fatal shooting, the team behind Justified is pulling out all the stops to rapidly bring the season five story arc to a close. Without losing a modicum of its recently acquired momentum, the series is moving forward with Daryl Crowe, Jr. (Michael Rapaport) being singled out as the main antagonist. Raylan (Timothy Olyphant), with the support of the Marshal's department and their resources, has made it his personal mission to apprehend Daryl - and for valid reason.

The Vampire Diaries Review: “Rescue Me” (Season 5, Episode 17)
Elena (Nina Dobrev) has been back to being herself for all of five minutes at this point and she's already being scrutinized for her poor parenting skills. The Vampire Diaries didn't waste anytime jumping right back into the personal drama that surrounds this recent high school grad/vampire/doppelgänger. Elena stepped right out of the back of her mind and right into a continuous string of uncomfortable situations.

The 100 Review: “Earth Skills” (Season 1, Episode 2)
The 100 doesn’t skip a beat going into its second episode, the aptly titled Earth Skills. Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and her merry band of survivalists have managed to escape their riverside predicament and made it back to camp. In their mad dash for safety, they also discovered that Jasper wasn’t killed by the spear to his chest (at least not yet) and while they were distracted by a pesky thing called self-preservation, he was promptly being kidnapped. Not bad on the action front, and all before the first commercial break, too.

Justified Review: “The Toll” (Season 5, Episode 11)
This season of Justified has been comparatively light on the heavy stuff. There has been a constant ebbing of compelling material as Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) and Art (Nick Searcy) continue down their road of indifference, and the Crowes have brought north with them a newfound sense of anarchy to an otherwise quiet Harlan County. But with the (shockingly) levelheaded influence of Boyd (Walton Goggins), even that has not managed to peak - until now.

Teen Wolf Season Finale Review: “The Divine Move” (Season 3, Episode 24)
teen-wolf Teen Wolf wrapped up the second half of its third season pretty much in the same fashion as the first. The Divine Move started with chaos, leaned toward happily ever after somewhere just passed the midway point, and wrapped up with a nicely loaded cliffhanger that's sure to keep fans hooked until Teen Wolf returns with all new episodes this June.

The Vampire Diaries Review: “While You Were Sleeping” (Season 5, Episode 16)
Katherine Pierce (Nina Dobrev) may be dead, but she's far from gone. On this episode of The Vampire Diaries, Elena (also Dobrev) explores a bit of her inner-mind and discovers that Katherine hasn't lost just yet. You may recall that as a final parting gift to her doppelganger, Katherine injected herself with a little vengeance - in the form of the vampire-eat-vampire serum, laced with werewolf venom for an extra kick. Werewolf venom, even in this form, is still deadly to vampires. As we've seen before, the decline is a painful process of physical ailments and hallucinations. So not only does Elena spend most of this episode writhing in emotional pain as she slowly loses her grasp on reality, but she is suffering from hunger pangs as vampires willing to let Elena gorge herself on them were the one thing in short supply.
