About The Author

Lindsay Sperling has A.D.D. and her tastes reflect it. Her movie collection boasts everything from Casablanca to John Tucker Must Die to every season of Sons of Anarchy to-date. She adamantly supported a Veronica Mars Movie (yes, she did make a donation to see it happen..and also possibly for the t-shirt), hopes that the Fast & Furious franchise continues far into the future, and has read every popular YA book series turned film in recent years (except Harry Potter..). When she's not on an indie film set or educating the youth of America, she uses her time arguably productive as a freelance writer.

Teen Wolf Review: “Riddled” (Season 3, Episode 18)
Teen Wolf offered up a dismal episode last night highlighting Stiles' (Dylan O'Brien) further decent into mental instability. The first half conquered his delusional mind, and the second part covered his possession by an evil spirit. And in the meantime, all the other characters ran around town looking like chickens with their heads cut off trying to figure out what was really going on. If it wasn't for Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) and his modicum of rational thought, there would have been no salvation.

Beauty And The Beast Review: “Till Death” (Season 2, Episode 13)
Tori (Amber Skye Noyes) may be dead, but Sam (Tom Everett Scott), Agent Landon's husband who's been assumed dead for the last six years, is miraculously alive. On the surface this may seem like the lesser of two evils. Tori was, after all, an untamed beast prone to jealous temper tantrums. Plus, she was standing in the way of true love. But it looks like Beauty and the Beast has pulled a fast one on us.

The Vampire Diaries Review: “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” (Season 5, Episode 13)
The Vampire Diaries has pulled itself back from the edge of the abyss, and who knew that all it would take was getting rid of Elena (Nina Dobrev)? OK, that might not be entirely the case, but with Katherine (also Dobrev) literally inserting herself into Elena, it might as well be. Even without all the necessary details and her actions being only a muted version of what they should be, she's surprisingly not getting any mixed reviews (yet) on her performance from the people who Elena considers near and dear. And if the episodes keep up at this pace, The Vampire Diaries is setting itself up for an unforgettable second half of the season.

Pretty Little Liars Review: “Hot For Teacher” (Season 4, Episode 18)
Pretty Little Liars has moved away from subtly pursuing the 'Ezra is evil' lead to full on throwing it in our faces. And, it's not particularly a good look for the show. Part of why PLL is equal parts frustrating and compelling is that you never know what's going to happen until it does. It's what keeps fans coming back week after week, season after season, for more - Pretty Little Liars is an addiction, not a fling.

Justified Review: “Shot All To Hell” (Season 5, Episode 5)
Justified brings out the big guns on this episode making the good guys look better and the bad guys look like they're definitely on the losing end of things. Between the Marshal service's recent victories and Boyd (Walton Goggins) making himself enemies in all the wrong places, this season is shaping up to result in a body count that rivals any previous season, and may include a series regular if events keep backfiring like they have been.

Teen Wolf Review: “Silverfinger” (Season 3, Episode 17)
Teen Wolf offered up an intense night of supernatural drama in Silverfinger, but the storyline took a disappointing turn when the curtains closed and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) was left standing awkwardly in the spotlight. This show has been without a real antagonist since we entered into the second half of the season, leaving Duecalion (Gideon Emery) and Ms. Blake (Haley Webb) behind. Now, however, we finally have one. Unfortunately though, it's someone we actually like.

Beauty And The Beast Review: “Recipe For Disaster” (Season 2, Episode 12)
Anyone who's accused Tori (Amber Skye Noyes) of being a buzz kill might be eating their words after tonight's episode of Beauty and the Beast when she proved with her life that noble acts are not beyond her realm of thinking. There's no doubt that fans who rallied behind Cat's (Kristen Kreuk) new romance with Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) are shuttering after the events of Recipe for Disaster left Tori dead (at the hands of long-time beast hunters) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) back on the market. Now that he's no longer under the influence of overpowering pheromones, it's only a matter of time before he starts thinking clearly once again - and we all know where that will lead him.

The Vampire Diaries Review: “The Devil Inside” (Season 5, Episode 12)
When the screen transitioned to black and all you could see was The Vampire Diaries logo on last week's monumental 100th episode, any hope you had that Katherine (Nina Dobrev) would exit the series on a high note was lost. From that point forward, it didn't matter where the narrative was going, Katherine was fated to either outlive every other character, or die a villain's death. All the brownie points she may have racked up in the meanwhile, gone.

Justified Review: “Over The Mountain” (Season 5, Episode 4)
The Crowes have arrived in Harlan County and they are wasting very little time letting everyone, including the authorities, know it. Prepare to have your Justified world rocked with Daryl (Michael Rapaport) and his retro brand of hillbilly mayhem which has unintentionally, if only briefly, reunited Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) and Boyd (Walter Goggins) in the search for a missing informant.

Pretty Little Liars Review: “Bite Your Tongue” (Season 4, Episode 17)
There was a lot happening on this episode of Pretty Little Liars and we can't blame anyone for getting a little frustrated. For so long Ezra (Ian Harding) has been positioned as someone that the Liars could trust, an adult that they could actually rely on when so many have turned out to be on A's payroll. This always put him in contrast to the other characters, especially those around his age, that seemed to be holding back or keeping secrets. And, now that his sincerity has been questioned, everything we think we know is up for debate.
