If you fancy a glimpse behind the magic of J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens then this 10-minute long before and after comparison VFX reel is definitely a must watch. Basically the vid features behind-the-scenes shots before any effects were added, alongside the same shots as they appear in the finished film.
A new international one-sheet for The Crow director Alex Proyas’ mythological adventure, Gods Of Egypt, has been released. While the initial character banners introduced us to the cast individually, this poster brings them all together with the film's principals, Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Set (Gerard Butler), taking center stage. We also have the likes of Brenton Thwaites (The Giver) as Bek, Courtney Eaton (Mad Max: Fury Road) as Zaya, Thoth (Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman) and the token wise old sage type character played by Geoffrey Rush dotted about the place.
One of the biggest mysterious to be left unresolved by the closing scenes of Star Wars: The Force Awakens was the identity of Rey's (Daisy Ridley) parents. This definitely seems to be important: after all she was left alone on Jakku for a very specific reason, and is incredibly proficient in the ways of the Force - so surely at least one of her parents will turn out to be a Jedi character we're already familiar with... right?

We've had a couple of brief teasers already, but now Showtime has released a full trailer for the third season of their brilliant and disturbing horror drama series, Penny Dreadful. The network has also announced that like last year's season 2 premiere, the show will return on Sunday, May 1st at 9 p.m.
Being a show that encompasses time-travel, DC's Legends Of Tomorrow has the luxury of taking its characters pretty much anywhere and any time it chooses - and it just so happens it chooses to take the team back to the Old West to meet none other than legendary bounty hunter, Jonah Hex.
We don't have long to go before we find out whether Fox's gamble of giving Deadpool his own R-rated solo movie has paid off or not, and promotion has been steadily kicking up a few notches as the release date approaches. Speaking of which, the Merc with a Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) does some kicking of his own in this latest TV commercial, as he "calls an audible" and damn near takes an unfortunate goon's head clean off his shoulders.
Out of all the heroes that made up Marvel's original Avengers roster, only Hawkeye and Black Widow still haven't had a solo movie adventure - and out of those two it's that latter fans most want to see headline her own movie. Various people involved with the MCU, from Kevin Feige to Scarlett Johansson herself, have commented on the possibility of seeing it happen someday, but so far there doesn't seem to be anything official in the pipeline.
We've been hearing his name mentioned in connection with the project for months now, but today Marvel finally confirmed that Creed director Ryan Coogler would take the helm of the solo Black Panther movie, which is still set for release in 2018.
Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz is currently at work on a fifth season of the brilliant comedy, and while we haven't heard much about Netflix's plans for it just yet, we now have an idea of what the main storyline may be, and it's certainly not at all what we expected.
