It's been well documented that James Mangold's Logan will mark Hugh Jackman final time playing the iconic role that's kept him in claws and muttonchops for the past two decades, but during a new interview, the Aussie actor reveals that he actually gave serious thought to bidding farewell to Wolverine many years ago.
Whether you like it or not, the Transformers franchise is going to be around for a while. With The Last Knight arriving in theaters this summer to continue the main series, and several more sequels planned after that, those robots in disguise aren't going anywhere. Not only that, but we also have a spinoff to look forward to (?) now, as it was announced a while back that Bumblebee would be receiving his own film.
Though Marvel still hasn't officially given a sequel to Doctor Strange the go-ahead, one would assume it'll only be a matter of time, especially given that the studio's latest superhero adventure performed so well at the box office - and when the Sorcerer Supreme (Benedict Cumberbatch) dons the cloak of levitation again, he's going to need some fresh bad guys to work his magic against.
The Wrap is reporting today that Stranger Things star David Harbour, who featured as Chief Jim Hopper on the Netflix series, is being eyed to play the role of Cable in Deadpool 2. From what we understand, 20th Century Fox has already screen tested the actor, but no decision has been made just yet.
Among many other things, one of the reasons people absolutely fell in love with Stranger Things was due to its wonderful cast. Made up mostly of newcomers, every actor shined in their role, giving us great characters who viewers just couldn't get enough of, especially when it came to the four main children - Mike, Lucas, Dustin and Eleven. It's no surprise then that the individuals who brought them to life are now finding themselves in the spotlight, with a few of them already snagging some high-profile roles.
This month, the final piece of The Defenders puzzle will fall into place as Marvel's Iron Fist premieres on Netflix. The show will introduce Danny Rand to the world, and over the course of the 13 episodes, we will (presumably) see plans laid down for his inevitable team-up with Jessica Jones, Daredevil, and Luke Cage. However, as Marvel Comics fans will no doubt be aware, Rand develops a much closer friendship with the unbreakable Power Man (Mike Colter) than he does with the other three.
It's no secret that Avengers: Infinity War is going to be a big film. Sorry, not big. Gigantic. Even that may be an understatement. The project is no doubt Marvel's most ambitious to date and with nearly every MCU character still breathing set to make an appearance, excitement for it is through the roof. As such, we expect the studio to be pouring a fair bit of money into the movie.
In case you didn't know, it's director Zack Snyder's birthday today. However, it seems that the fans are the ones reaping the rewards, as we've now seen two behind the scenes goodies from Justice League. The first one came in the form of some intriguing test footage of Jason Momoa swimming around as Aquaman. That was more than enough to send people reeling, but now Gal Gadot has taken to Instagram to share a great BTS shot from set, showing her in full costume as Wonder Woman.
You've gotta hand it to M. Night Shyamalan. Even despite the beating he's taken from critics over the years, the director never threw in the towel and now, he's in the midst of a pretty exciting comeback. His fortunes turned with the 2015 flick The Visit and with the recent release of Split, it seems that he's fully back into the swing of things, currently gearing up to bring us the long awaited Unbreakable 2.
In the buildup to the release of James Mangold's Logan, a batch of stylish black and white promotional images were used to market the movie over on the WponX Instagram page. For a while, some believed this indicated that the actual film would be black and white, but of course, the first teaser trailer confirmed that wasn't going to be the case.
