By now, over a month since Star Wars Celebration went down in Orlando, you'd think that all the juicy tidbits to come out of the event would have surfaced online. Apparently not, though, as Entertainment Weekly's got one more for us today, and if you're a fan of John Boyega's former Stormtrooper turned Resistance fighter Finn, it'll definitely put a smile on your face.
20th Century Fox's Deadpool 2 is already jam-packed with characters, so one might expect some of the returning faces to take a back seat to heavy-hitters such as Cable and Domino, who will make their big screen debut in the movie. However, it sounds like at least one of the Merc With a Mouth's closest pals will actually have a bit more to do this time around.
Though its first season was a gripping, terrifying and engaging outing of television, full of supernatural thrills and tons of gory action, The Strain has since gone nowhere but downhill. It’s far from a bad show, of course, but FX has never really been able to recapture the magic of that rookie outing and thankfully, the creators have realized this too, as the series will be calling it quits after its fourth and final season.
You've got to wonder why Warner Bros. is having so much trouble with The Flash. The character has seen tremendous success on television lately and has been a fan-favorite almost ever since he debuted in the comics back in the 40s. So, why has the studio's big screen solo outing for the hero not been able to get off the ground? That's a good question, as numerous directors have come and gone and the rumors surrounding the project haven't painted a very promising picture thus far.
Well, this is pretty surprising. After confirming to us just a few weeks back that he was hard at work on Justice League Dark, director Doug Liman has now departed the project. Scheduling conflicts are the official reason given for the exit, though who knows if that's true.
It's a moment that's still being talked about by fans of AMC's The Walking Dead the world over, and the repercussions of which still echo through the show to this day. We're referring to the season 7 premiere, of course, where Negan mercilessly beat two main characters to death, and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) was the first to feel the wrath of the villain's barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat, Lucille.
Another day and another round of DC Extended Universe rumors. Last week, Justice League found itself in the spotlight and this time, it's Matt Reeves' The Batman which is being placed under the microscope.
Most fans and critics agree that James Mangold's Logan was a pretty damn special film, but if one thing emerged as a somewhat divisive aspect, it was the decision not to show what happened to Wolverine's X-Men teammates back in Westchester and instead keep the details of what occurred deliberately vague. Though the movie does provide us with enough information to piece things together, it turns out that we were originally going to get to witness the horrific events of the incident in gory detail.
