Some directors might buckle under the weight of putting together a film as important as The Batman. Not only does it feature quite possibly one of the most beloved characters in any medium, ever, but it's also a crucial project for the studio. With the mixed response to Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, Warner Bros. needs a hit. They may very well get that with Justice League and/or Wonder Woman, but it's really The Batman that people are putting most of their faith in at this point.

Corey Hawkins is quickly making his way up the Hollywood ladder of fame. After truly breaking out in 2015's Straight Outta Compton, it's been one high profile role after another for the talented young actor. With both 24: Legacy and Kong: Skull Island on the horizon, not to mention a few other projects that are still brewing in development, you might think that Hawkins may not have any time to return to some of his older roles, but that doesn't seem to the case.
Earlier today, it was announced that Marvel and 20th Century Fox have a new "family drama" in the works that will be set in the X-Men universe. The show's title remains under wraps, but we do know that it will focus on the ordinary human parents of a couple of mutant children, who take their kids on the run from a hostile government. That wasn't really a whole lot to go on, but thanks to showrunner/writer Matt Nix, we now have quite a bit more.
Variety is reporting tonight that Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage may be joining the MCU with a role in Avengers: Infinity War. They don't know yet who exactly he'll play, but apparently it's a key part and will extend past just that film, as he's also expected to show up in the currently untitled sequel.
Earlier today, we got official confirmation that Woody Harrelson had joined the already very impressive cast of Phil Lord and Chris Miller's young Han Solo Star Wars anthology movie, but is there a chance that Diego Luna might have signed on as well to reprise his Rogue One: A Star Wars Story role?
Though not officially released, three new behind the scenes snaps from Warner Bros.' upcoming Wonder Woman movie have found their way online today courtesy of French movie magazine, Studio Ciné Live. The photos were taken last year as director Patty Jenkins and her crew filmed on the beaches of Palinuro, Italy, which was doubling for the mythical island of Themyscira.

It seems this current season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. won't be comprised of just 2 separate story arcs, as we'd previously believed. The ABC superhero series recently wrapped up its first 8 Ghost Rider-centric installments, and will return tomorrow night for its LMD midseason premiere. Fans had assumed this storyline would finish out the fourth season, but according to one of the show's executive producers, there's more to look forward to.
