Ryan Coogler's already impressive Black Panther cast continues to expand today with the addition of up-and-coming Ready Player One actress Letitia Wright, who will take on the role of Serita.
Last night's installment of Marvel's flagship TV series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., began to tie some of the plot strands that were established in the first few episodes of the season together. A seriously injured Quake was reunited with Simmons, and the pair set about trying to discover what The Watchdogs were up to, while we finally saw Ghost Rider interact with some of the other main characters - and nab himself that signature flaming chain while he was as it.
Though pretty much every big tentpole release undergoes some form of reshoots, whenever fans hear about them they assume the worst and begin to worry about the quality of the movie. Of course, in some cases they have every reason to be concerned (*cough* Suicide Squad *cough*) , but a lot of the time it's just par for the course - and sometimes they can even allow for improvement, as we can see from this new snippet from J.J. Abrams' commentary track for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens special edition Blu-ray.
Ever since the identity of Negan's unfortunate victim in the season 6 finale of AMC's The Walking Dead was kept hidden from fans, there has been rampant speculation as to which member of Rick's group is going to wind up getting "Lucille-d" in next week's season 7 premiere. In the comics it's Glenn, but because that character's demise was already flirted with earlier on in the last season, many viewers theorize that it'll be someone else - or, that poor ol' Glenn won't be the only casualty.
Though they definitely have their moments, Thor and Thor: The Dark World are generally regarded as leaning towards the negative end of Marvel's movie spectrum, so when a third film, Thor: Ragnarok, was announced, there didn't really seem to be the type of buzz among the loyal MCU fanbase that we usually see. Then, we started to find out a lot more about it, and that all changed.
Time for a bit of early '90s nostalgia here, as THR is reporting that Paramount Pictures and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way production company have partnered up to bring environmental superhero Captain Planet to the big screen.
The Watchers of The Wall site has been a great source for early info on HBO's Game of Thrones for years now, and as shooting continues on the show's seventh and penultimate season, they've come through yet again with some intriguing new details on where we'll find Emilia Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen, and who she'll be meeting with.
Marvel's Doctor Strange will feature the big screen debut of Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams), who adopts the mantle of Night Nurse in the comic books after she takes it upon herself to spend her evenings patching up New York City's crop of superheroes. If that sounds familiar, it's because Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple is currently doing the exact same thing on Marvel's Netflix shows.
Ever since the Marvel Netflix shows were announced, fans have assumed that there would be some kind of crossover with the MCU at some point, but aside from the occasional rumor and a lot of speculation, we've actually never had any evidence that the studio was even considering it - though seeing Luke Cage, Daredevil, Jessica Jones and co. up on the big screen still seems like a no-brainer to most people.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is already 3 episodes into its fourth season, but this year's fiery main attraction, Ghost Rider, has only really encountered (well, he did terrify the hell out of Fitz and Mack last week, but no words were exchanged) one of the main characters thus far, as he and Daisy have formed a partnership of sorts. That all changes on next Tuesday's installment, however, as The Spirit of Vengeance's host Robbie Reyes finds himself a captive of Coulson and friends.
