Roundtable Interview With Winona Ryder On The Iceman
While I wouldn't exactly say Winona Ryder has been hiding under a rock these last few years, I will point out she's been very selective with her roles. The actress has mainly been sticking to more independent films (The Letter), but if she does appear in a mainstream film, it's usually for a smaller part (Star Trek). This isn't a bad thing though, as most of her decisions have been paying off mightily, and her performance as Richard Kuklinski's wife in The Iceman is no different.

We all know actor Ray Liotta for numerous roles revolving around crooked cops and gangsters, obviously pointing to Goodfellas for sparking this continuing image, so of course everyone got a little curious when he was cast in the upcoming Disney sequel The Muppets...Again!. Ray Liotta sharing the screen with a bunch of puppets in a more kid-friendly movie? We knew something good had to be brewing, but now we know exactly what to expect.

Alyce Kills Review
Ready to head down the rabbit hole with director Jay Lee (Zombie Strippers) for his trippy pscho-horror film Alyce Kills? This is anything but a Wonderland for Alyce though, running madly around a city full of cheating boyfriends, vicious bitches, and perverted drug dealers. The only white rabbit that guides her way comes in a white powder form, and Jefferson Airplane starts us on our journey by playing none other than, you guessed it, "White Rabbit." Don't think Lee's film plays close to Alice In Wonderland though, it's more just a notion with nods to characters and themes. Plus you wouldn't want to mix up Alice with Alyce - one is whimsical and innocent, while the other mutilates anyone in her path.

The Lords Of Salem Review
There's no horror director with the individualistic style and personality of hard rocking musician turned cult-worshiped filmmaker Rob Zombie. That's a statement I can make and absolutely stand behind. You look at his visual prowess and unique ability to deliver shocking scenes of hyper-psychotic gore and scares and it's impossible to compare such ideas and styles to any other directors currently attempting to take over the horror genre. With that said, I still don't absolutely love all his work, no matter how gorgeous some parts may be, and his latest film The Lords Of Salem provides a perfect example of why.

Girls Against Boys Review
Man, I just can't help but think a huge opportunity was wasted with Austin Chick's Girls Against Boys. With a title like that, and a synopsis that includes the phrase "deadly way of dealing with the opposite sex," I thought I'd be in for some sexy genre fun about pissed off women who go around murdering misogynistic men for shits and giggles. Maybe some pulp story uniting women against the plight that is the male gender, making us feel inadequate against two feminist icons punishing the wicked? Unfortunately that wasn't my luck though, as I would have taken anything instead of the movie Chick delivered.

I so wish I had the "Wrap It Up" box from Chappelle's Show, because if I could have hit it around the hour and forty five minute mark during Mud, it would have added another star onto my review.
