Even all these months after its release, Captain America: Civil War still finds itself in the news every now and then. Granted, a lot of the focus has shifted away from Marvel's massive threequel and towards some of their upcoming efforts like Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War, but Joe and Anthony Russo's tremendously successful blockbuster is still on the minds of many.
If you cast your mind back many years ago, before Game of Thrones, Westworld and True Blood, you'll remember that HBO first made an impact on the television landscape with shows like The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, The Wire and, of course, Deadwood. It only lasted three seasons, but the Western was one of the most critically acclaimed series of its time and amassed a small but incredibly loyal fanbase. Unfortunately though, the ratings just couldn't justify the cost to produce the show and it was ultimately given the axe.
All eyes right now are on Spider-Man: Homecoming, and understandably so. After Tom Holland's grand debut as the new wall-crawler in Captain America: Civil War, fans are beyond eager to see more of him. With DC continuing to dominate on television, it's easy to see why so many people are looking forward to their next show, Powerless. Though it's a far cry from what's going on over in the Arrowverse, it promises to present something unique and refreshing, which makes it all the more intriguing. Set to be a workplace comedy and air on NBC, the promotional campaign for the new series is now beginning to kick into high gear and today brings with it yet another promo.
