As Rogue One: A Star Wars Story closes in on $1 billion at the worldwide box office, it seems to be all that anyone can talk about these days. Everywhere you look there's a new story popping up about Gareth Edwards' incredibly successful prequel and the internet just can't get enough of it. One aspect in particular that people really seem to be interested in though is the two surprising cameos - one from Peter Cushing and one from a much younger Carrie Fisher.
To say that season 7 of The Walking Dead has been uneven so far would be a massive understatement. After a shocking premiere that saw Negan brutally murder Glenn and Abraham, the show quickly went downhill. Subplots stretched on for far too long, uninteresting characters were given way too much screentime, extended episodes wasted their extra minutes and quite frankly, nothing that exciting seemed to be happening. Sure, the first half of the season did have its moments here and there, but overall, it's certainly been a bit of a slog so far.
Triple Frontier, the Mark Boal-scripted thriller, has been simmering away in development for a while now, flirting with plenty of big stars but ultimately, not really having much to show for it. If you cast your mind way back, you'll remember that Katheryn Bigelow (Zero Dark Thirty) was set to direct, with Tom Hanks, Will Smith and Johnny Depp all close to signing on for lead roles.
Looks like Thor: Ragnarok isn't the only movie to unveil its first, official synopsis today - Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning's swashbuckling sequel, has revealed its lengthy logline and, much to the surprise of no one, it heralds a new adventure for one captain Jack Sparrow.
