Deadline is reporting that Warner Bros. is looking to remake Little Shop of Horrors, and they've drafted in Greg Berlanti to steer the ship. Those of you familiar with The CW's Arrowverse will no doubt recognize Berlanti's name, as he's the producer behind Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow - which makes him an odd, but interesting pick for this remake.
Despite the fact that Johnny Depp just can't seem to find a good role lately, he's still demanding extremely high paychecks for his work. The once upon a time A-lister is now more often than not found starring in one bomb after another, with his recent filmography cluttered up with mediocre projects like Alice Through the Looking Glass, Mortdecai, Transcendence, The Lone Ranger and Dark Shadows, among others.
