The Soup host, Community star, and Independent Spirit Awards Host Joel McHale is in final negotiations to star along side Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis in Seth MacFarlane's Ted. According to Deadline, McHale will play Rex, the sleazy boss who is perpetually putting the moves on his employee (Kunis). She wants to marry her boyfriend (Wahlberg), but won't until he redefines his relationship with his teddy bear, the one that came alive during a childhood wish and has become a slovenly womanizing slacker. Joining McHale will be Giovanni Ribisi, Variety reports. Ribisi will play Donny, a man who's obsessed with Ted for some reason.

Deadline is reporting that Warner Brothers is working to reboot the 1992 film starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston. In the 1992 film directed by Mike Jackson, Costner plays as a bodyguard protecting Houston’s character from a crazed stalker. Soon the bodyguard’s assignment becomes complicated as the two begin to develop a romantic relationship.

After being nominated for her breakout role in the Coen brothers’ True Grit, Hailee Steinfeld is moving on to star in a brand new role. The Oscar nomineee has just been casted in an adaptation of Cat Patrick’s sci-fi novel Forgotten. According to Deadline, Paramount has acquired the rights to Patrick’s novel, which will have Steinfeld starring in lead role. Although the book won’t be published until June, the plot of the story will focus on London Lane, a 16-year old whose memory is erased at 4:33 every night. The following morning, all she can remember are events from her future. After meeting a new boy at school, London becomes frustrated that she can't seem to find him in her memory of things to come.
