Guncraft Review

Guncraft attempts to combine first person shooter and complex sandbox builder, but falls short due to unstable servers, balance issues and an abundance of bugs. It's clear that Guncraft was released from beta testing too early and should be avoided until the current issues are fixed.

SMITE Introduces Tyr The Lawgiver

The newest God released in SMITE is the Norse god of law and heroic glory, Tyr The Lawgiver, who brandishes a long double-edged sword with which he dispenses justice. Tyr is a melee bruiser who excels at dealing sustained physical damage, while being able to take a beating. What makes Tyr truly powerful is his ability to change his stance, between "assault" and "guard", in an instant while also resetting his cool-downs.

Outlast Arrives On Steam On September 4th

One of the most frightening games in production is finally scheduled to release on Steam early next month. Outlast, developed by the 10 man indie team Red Barrels, literally made players at PAX East and E3 jump out of the booth; it earned the title of “Most Likely to Make you Faint.” While the playable demos weren't exceptionally long, they contained more than enough gruesome surprises to go around.

Dusty Revenge Review

Dusty Revenge is a 2D side-scrolling beat 'em-up with platforming elements, created by the indie developer PD Design Studio. The game focuses on Dusty, a dual-wielding rabbit, and his two companions who are bent on revenge. PD Design Studio creates a unique environment by using a Cel-shaded artistic style and a world containing humanoid furry animals.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Releases Dungeon Crawl Video

Square Enix has just released its latest teaser for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. In the video they include visual walkthroughs of several dungeons. Even with the relatively poor resolution from the videos, these dungeons look gorgeous. Square Enix is definitely building the anticipation, and I for one am getting more and more excited the closer to launch this bad boy gets.

Dynasty Warriors 8 Review

Dynasty Warriors 8 improves upon its predecessors and is easily the best in the series for this console generation. The storyline feels deeper, the battles are more intense, and the graphics have improved. These improvements should make it one of the better hack and slash titles released this year.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Won’t Be Coming To Xbox Consoles

Game director Naoki Yoshida confirmed that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn won't be released for the Xbox 360 or Xbox One, due to Microsoft's restrictive policies that prohibit cross-platform gaming. The game will be coming to PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. All versions will be linked to the same servers.
