We haven't even seen the opening weekend numbers for the Ethan Hawke led home invasion horror thriller The Purge yet, but apparently studios have seen (err...heard?) enough already to green-light a sequel.
After months of rumors and cast speculation, the first on-set photos of Paul Thomas Anderson's Inherent Vice have surfaced. Based on the novel by Thomas Pynchon, the film follows Joaquin Phoenix through a psychotropic, noir-laden mystery set in late 60's Los Angeles. Paul Thomas Anderson is notorious for prolonging the time in which his films move into production, but we're glad to to see him back on the ball straight after his fantastic 2012 film The Master.
