James Franco Set To Remake Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?

There’s an awful lot of chatter about women in entertainment right now. Lots of high profile individuals are ever so bravely ‘speaking out’ about the systemic sexism that prevents women behind the camera from getting jobs and getting projects made. The frustrating thing is that, while there are a vast number of people talking about the issue, there seem to be very few people actually undertaking to rectify the gender imbalance. Actions speak louder than words and, while Star Wars producers, Marvel producers, and performers like Jennifer Lawrence have yet to actually deal with women directors on more than a token basis, Academy Award nominee James Franco is literally putting his money where his mouth is, with a remake of Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?

Academy Award winner Sean Penn got his professional start in television back in 1974, playing “Kid” in two episodes of Little House On The Prairie. Four decades later, he is set to return to the small screen – this time playing the seventh President of the United States, Andrew Jackson, in American Lion. Geomancer Set To Make The Flash Quake In Mid-Season Episodes

Superheroes sure are great, but they would be nothing without impressive villains to butt heads with. Every meta-human has their fair share of nemeses, and with good reason – what would be the point of all those powers if you couldn’t show them off for the greater good, once in a while? Chadwick Boseman To Star As Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall

The career of Chadwick Boseman continues to go from strength to strength, as he lines up another high profile role to tackle post-Captain America: Civil War. The actor, who will debut the much anticipated character of Black Panther in that tent-pole movie, has been cast as Supreme Justice Thurgood Marshall in the film Marshall, which will be something of a biopic of the legendary legal icon, who became the first African American judge appointed to the Supreme Court in 1967.
