Having picked up an Oscar for The Social Network, which effectively revived his career and put him right in the spotlight, it was kind of inevitable that Aaron Sorkin's new TV drama was going to be picked up by HBO. The guy was untouchable on TV. He is arguably most well known for The West Wing, which is loved by everyone, so his return to the medium after spending the last few years in movies will be a much publicized affair.

New Tantalising Featurette For Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
Having premiered at Venice to rave reviews and with early UK reviews now steadily being streamed out, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is becoming one of the year's biggest Oscar contenders. It will certainly be the film to beat at the BAFTA's this year, with many talking about Gary Oldman as the man to be in the next in line for Best Actor. With that in mind, a lot of promotional material is being released for the film, particularly focusing on Oldman.

Kill List Review
Kill List is a tremendous film that features a nerve shredding climax that shook me to the core, skilfully edited and cruelly turning the tables on the main characters in ways you never expected, before resulting in one of the most shattering horror denouements. It is the finest horror set piece I've seen in years.

Pedro Almodovar has spent the last 30 years crafting a career for himself in Spain, working mostly out of Madrid. His unique brand of filmmaking, which ranges from passionate melodramas to intense sexual thrillers, has made him a big name on the global film stage. He is one of the last remaining authentic auteurs, any film by him is immediately recognizable when you sit down to watch it.

Behind The Scenes View From The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
Is this the beginning of the viral marketing of David Fincher's re-adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo or a legally dubious behind the scenes grab from a fearless crew member? I think it's perhaps the former. About a day ago a very brief behind the scenes clip appeared online from a very strange source. The YouTube page has no other videos and has disabled comments. It fleetingly shows Daniel Craig as disgraced journalist Mikael Blomkvist looking over pictures under the direction of Fincher.

Gary Oldman Planning To Direct Again, Wants Colin Firth For Lead
Gary Oldman is fast becoming the man of the moment with his role in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy courting universal acclaim. Colin Firth is currently one of the most sought after actors after having won everyone's heart in The King's Speech.
