The Killing Season 1-01 ‘Pilot’ Recap
Much has been said and hyped about recently in regards to AMC's brand new series The Killing and rightfully so. This is a cable network that has brought us Mad Men, Breaking Bad and most recently The Walking Dead. It is also derived from an exceptional 20-episode Danish original of the same name, which is one of the most gripping and fascinating foreign screen imports from the last few years. The expectation was high and it has been hyped to hell over the past few weeks before the premiere on Sunday night. Viewing figures for the pilot and the second episode hit 2.7 million, the 2nd biggest of AMC's lifespan in original programming and on repeats that figure has cranked up to nearly 4.6 million. The reviews have also been glowing, universally everyone has been highly laudatory. So is it that good?

Chloe Moretz Joins Dark Shadows
Tim Burton's cast for his upcoming re-adaptation of the 60's TV show, Dark Shadows, gets better and better. Deadline has confirmed that fast rising star Chloe Moretz will join the film. Moretz will play Carolyn Stoddard, the daughter of matriarch Elizabeth Collins Stoddard played by Michelle Pfeiffer, and owner of the Collinwood mansion where the supernatural saga unfolds. Moretz just wrapped the Martin Scorsese-directed Hugo Cabret and is guaranteed to be one of the biggest stars ini Hollywood within the next two years.

Hailee Steinfeld Attached To Re-Telling Of Sleeping Beauty
She's already been picked for another movie, Forgotten. But the offers are still coming in. Hailee Steinfeld 's Oscar nominated debut in True Grit has been working out well for her and now the young stalwart is attached to another movie, Deadline reports. The movie in question is a fresh re-telling of the Sleeping Beauty fairytale, a spec script written by Lindsay Devlin. This will revise the story and tell it from the point of view of the princess, in which she falls into a dream world and has to escape, so a bit different than the original story where she just waits for the handsome Prince to turn up and sweep her off her feet.
