Greed. Ambition. Business. Lost opportunities. And the most awkward family dinner this side of American Beauty. The first half of Breaking Bad's fifth season is drawing to a close but the conflict between our three doomed meth business partners: Walt, Jesse and Mike has no end in sight. The relationship between Mike and Walt was never going to work but this week it only gets worse as Mike insists on being bought out with Walt's stubbornness only seeking to not let that happen.

Director Tony Scott Dies At Age 68

Very sad news hit this morning as Tony Scott, the director of films such as Top Gun, True Romance and Man on Fire, has died at age 68. News sources inform us that the cause of death was suicide, the filmmaker was seen jumping from a bridge in California. The police have found two notes; one in his car and one in his office and the chief investigating officer has said "we have no reason to believe it is not a suicide."

The Newsroom Review: “The Blackout Part 1: Tragedy Porn” (Season 1, Episode 8)

After the sanctimonious blip of last week's dire episode, The Newsroom finds a return to form this week as the News Night team battle with the heads on the 42nd floor about content and ratings. While the Lansings continue their triumph of squashing the "mission to civilise", Charlie's anonymous NSA source has information which can potentially smear the owners of the company due to their involvement in warrantless phone hacking.

Breaking Bad Review: “Dead Freight” (Season 5, Episode 5)

The promise of Breaking Bad's fifth season delivering a bigger scope and wilder content was fearsomely delivered this week with the episode "Dead Freight". Admittedly, we don't get there till the final 20 minutes but when it delivers we get one of the most impressive sequences in TV this year: a modern day train robbery as Walt, Jesse and Mike take full measures in order to retrieve the all important methylamine.

New Official Photo Of Daniel Day-Lewis As Lincoln

Steven Spielberg's Lincoln has been keeping itself under the radar. The film's release is only a few months away and we have not yet received any official promotional material. Teaser Trailer For Kathryn Bigelow’s Zero Dark Thirty

It's hard to believe that it has been over a year since the assassination of Osama Bin Laden. Furthermore, by the end of the year, we will have the sure to be Oscar baiting Zero Dark Thirty, a factually accurate account of the operation from the filmmakers of The Hurt Locker.
