New Official Photo Of Daniel Day-Lewis As Lincoln
Steven Spielberg's Lincoln has been keeping itself under the radar. The film's release is only a few months away and we have not yet received any official promotional material. Sure, we've had sneakily snapped set pics but nothing truly to give us a real taste of what the film is going to be like. And while this new image of Daniel Day-Lewis as the most iconic of American Presidents isn't exactly revelatory, it does stave off some hunger for a trailer.

Teaser Trailer For Kathryn Bigelow’s Zero Dark Thirty
It's hard to believe that it has been over a year since the assassination of Osama Bin Laden. Furthermore, by the end of the year, we will have the sure to be Oscar baiting Zero Dark Thirty, a factually accurate account of the operation from the filmmakers of The Hurt Locker. New Trailer For Boardwalk Empire Season 3
Aside from Game of Thrones, the big prestige show which currently airs on HBO is Boardwalk Empire, the prohibition set gangster series that is run by one of The Sopranos writers: Terence Winter, and produced by Martin Scorsese. The Dark Tower Adaptation May Be Moving Forward With Russell Crowe
You have got to admire Ron Howard, he is a filmmaker that doesn't give up and despite all the roadblocks he's encountered, he's still working on his adaptation of The Dark Tower. The ambitious scope for the project, which included three films, two TV series and Javier Bardem attached, was balked at by Universal who just couldn't get behind the mammoth project. Fans shouldn't lose hope yet though as Deadline is saying that there is the possibility of revival for The Dark Tower at Warner Bros.

Nicole Kidman Set To Join The Nymphomaniac
Lars von Trier knows how to be provocative. Even when he makes films which don't themselves court controversy, he finds a way to say the wrong thing and cause the controversy himself. With his upcoming film The Nymphomaniac, a two part tale about a woman discovering and acting on her erotic desires, he won't be breaking that trend. With lensing set to begin rather soon, von Trier is looking to fill more roles and he is starting the process by casting Nicole Kidman.

Vertigo Topples Citizen Kane As Sight & Sound’s Greatest Film Of All Time
Every 10 years the British film magazine Sight & Sound draws up a list of the 50 Greatest Films Ever Made. It is a list that is held with very high regard in the industry as it compiles and compares lists from esteemed critics and filmmakers from around the world. Every time it has been compiled since 1962, Orson Welles' perennial classic Citizen Kane has topped the poll. But now it's reign as "the Greatest Film Ever Made" has been toppled by none other than Alfred Hitchcock.
