Donald Trump fantasizes that changing the ‘unfair’ location of his ‘witch hunt trial’ will somehow put the ball back in his court

Donald Trump has expressed his wish to move his trial to Staten Island just hours before he was scheduled to be arrested.

Donald Trump‘s recent arrest for falsifying documents about the large payments he allegedly gave Stormy Daniels can be classified as either a dream or nightmare, depending on who is asked.

In the 76-year-old’s case, it could be a horror, especially the location where Trump has been indicted. As previously reported, Trump is currently facing 34 felony charges related to business fraud, one of which stemmed from the $130,000 he allegedly paid Daniels, an adult film star, in exchange for her silence regarding their alleged affair.

On the early morning of April 4, mere hours before turning himself in for his alleged participation, Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to share that he feels he may not receive a fair case because the location where his trial is set to take place has reportedly “voted 1% republican.” To make matters even worse, the father of five accused the judge assigned to the case, Judge Juan Manuel Marchan, of being “highly partisan” and a “well known Trump hater.” In the post, Trump said as he seemingly requested that his trial be moved to Staten Island,

“VERY UNFAIR VENUE, WITH SOME AREAS THAT VOTED 1% REPUBLICAN. THIS CASE SHOULD BE MOVED TO NEARBY STATEN ISLAND – WOULD BE A VERY FAIR AND SECURE LOCATION FOR THE TRIAL. ADDITIONALLY, THE HIGHLY PARTISAN JUDGE & HIS FAMILY ARE WELL KNOWN TRUMP HATERS. HE WAS AN UNFAIR DISASTER ON A PREVIOUS TRUMP RELATED CASE, WOULDN’T RECUSE, GAVE HORRIBLE JURY INSTRUCTIONS, & IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH DURING THE WITCH HUNT TRIAL. HIS DAUGHTER WORKED FOR “KAMALA” & NOW THE BIDEN-HARRIS CAMPAIGN. KANGAROO COURT!!!”

This isn’t the first Trump has called out Judge Juan Manuel Marchan. Days leading up to the his arrest, Trump alleged in another Truth Social post that Judge Juan Manuel Marchan was the same person that prompted his former CFO Allen Weisselberg to settle for a plea deal for a crime he allegedly didn’t commit. He stated,

“The Judge “assigned” to my Witch Hunt Case, a “Case” that has NEVER BEEN CHARGED BEFORE, HATES ME. His name is Juan Manuel Marchan, was hand picked by Bragg & the Prosecutors, & is the same person who “railroaded” my 75 year old former CFO, Allen Weisselberg, to take a “plea” deal (Plead GUILTY, even if you are not, 90 DAYS, fight us in Court, 10 years (life!) in jail. He strong armed Allen, which a judge is not allowed to do, & treated my companies, which didn’t “plead,” VICIOUSLY. APPEALING!”

Since Trump’s arrest and court appearance, he has been actively using his Truth Social account to comment on the events that have occurred. The former reality star even informed his followers as he headed back to Florida that he would be holding a hearing in Mar-a-Lago about how the city of Manhattan and the district attorney allegedly don’t have a case against him.

Trump’s hearing is set to take place at 8:15pm ET.
