How does Nick Cannon earn $100 million a year?

He's a busy man.

When your lifestyle is as crazy as Nick Cannon’s, you need to be earning the big bucks to fund it and with such a large family and his own record label to run, it’s no surprise that the actor/singer is constantly working. The Masked Singer host recently revealed that he earns $100 million a year, but what exactly does he do all year round to make that 100 mil?

In an interview with the LA Times, Cannon hit back at people for labeling him a “deadbeat dad.” It was estimated by The Sun that Cannon pays around $3 million a year in child support, although he rebutted this, claiming that he actually paid much more than that.

“That’s not a lot of money, […] When you think about my lifestyle, I have to generate at least $100 million a year.”

Of course, if you’re bringing home that much dough, then the amount you pay out in child support is probably a drop in the ocean. Cannon is a busy man; he is a host on The Masked Singer for two seasons every year, for which he’s paid $20 million. But that’s not the only show he hosts, he can also be seen on the comedy freestyle show, Wild ‘N Out, which he also created. Wild ‘N Out also currently has an arena tour and themed sports bars dotted over the country that Cannon also owns. He’s also currently filling in for Jamie Foxx on Beat Shazam after Foxx was recently hospitalized.

But wait, there’s more! Celebrity Prank Wars is currently airing on E! and the show sees Cannon and Kevin Hart join other celebrities in an attempt to one-up the rest with the best prank. Then, there’s Counsel Culture for Amazon Freevee, The Future Superstar Tour and a new film, Hollywood Heist, in which Cannon stars alongside Alec Baldwin.

And on top of all of that, to keep him busy, Cannon also runs his own record label/television company, Ncredible Entertainment, which produces music and shows. He hosts the podcast 2HateOrNot2Hate with Jonathan Greenblatt and he even has a daily radio show.

“Yeah. Everybody thinks Ryan Seacrest has tons of money. I do everything that he does times 10. Well, not times 10 — times three. Because he does a lot.”

It’s mind-boggling to try and work out how Nick Cannon juggles so many different projects on the go and does so whilst still managing to father 12 children. He’s even somehow managed to find the time to study for his masters degree in child psychology. The question really isn’t “how does Nick Cannon make $100 million dollars a year?,” it’s “how does Nick Cannon find the time to do it all in the first place?”
