Heard — who became a household name after filing a physical violence lawsuit against Depp — reportedly sold her house in Yucca Valley and moved to Spain with her two-year-old daughter, Oonagh. It’s not known whether the 37-year-old actress will ever be returning to Hollywood or resuming her acting career.

Various sources have confirmed that Heard is leaving the acting world for good. One of the sources closer to Heard told Daily Mail that the actress is in no hurry to head back to her previous life in California and right now she is solely focused on raising her daughter in Europe.

“I can reveal that Heard has quit Hollywood and quietly relocated to Spain with her young daughter, Oonagh. She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy they’re raising her daughter away from all the noise. I don’t think she is any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right, for the right project.”

The Aquaman star was seen in many exotic Spanish locations like last year and was even spotted with her daughter at Palma de Mallorca. It appears that Heard is settling in with the quaint, country life of Europe to live as a native.

Another source reached out to People saying that even though Heard is excited about filming in the future, at the moment she is focusing on her peaceful life in Spain as the trial left her devastated. Speaking on the subject, the source said,

“She has been living in Spain, where she gets more privacy. The trial was beyond stressful for her and she just wanted to start fresh out of the country. She is excited about working and filming again. She was exhausted and disappointed about the trial. She felt she was mistreated.”

With Amber taking a break off from Hollywood, popular attention shifted to Depp. After going on a music tour with the late Jeff Beck, the Pirates of the Caribbean star is back to focusing on work. Only this time he has moved beyond the realm of Hollywood.

Be it starring in the French historical drama Jeanne Du Barry or undertaking the task of helming the upcoming movie, Modigliani, one can say that Depp has started to explore the world of European cinema. Not unlike Heard, the actor is believed to be advancing toward a quaint life as he is often seen spending time at his Somerset house in England.

It’s not known where the duo is heading but one thing’s for sure, the trial and divorce have significantly shaped their lives.
