Cohen’s noteworthy presence in Hollywood social circles is well known. As an executive producer of the Emmy-nominated Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, he’s known for interacting with legions of celebrities. But recently, Cohen sat down with his pal and Here Comes the Sun host, Anderson Cooper, to discuss the valuable role he has chosen to embark on – fatherhood.

In the discussion, we get an insight into how the 55-year-old talk show host and single father of two navigates his fatherly responsibilities around a sea of various other engagements. The discussion however takes a different turn when Cooper interrogates Cohen about whether being a single parent without a partner ever propelled him to take some time off from his active life, to which Cohen replies, “I am happy to say, it didn’t. I just thought, ‘I want to do this and I am doing it and I know it’s going to be really hard and I don’t know what that actually means.'” Cooper then asks him if this experience has changed his approach toward relationships or whether in the future he will be ready to settle down.

In response, Cohen laughs and says, “I have got two kids here all the time, so what makes you think I am not ready? Have I not shown enough that I am settling down?” Throughout the interview, the celebrated talk show host shared numerous examples from his day-to-day life about how being a father shaped his life by making him more responsible every day and how priorities for Cohen have shifted from being a famous Hollywood face to tending to his children, Ben and Lucy; details of which we can follow in his book, The Daddy Diaries.
