Ever since Sean “Diddy” Combs went behind bars, Justin Bieber has not seen a day of peace. Whether it is the media speculating about his past association with the disgraced rapper or the “Baby” singer’s disheleved and often concerning appearance in public, Bieber has been courting one drama after another, even directly calling out paparazzi for their unrelenting intrusions. But he would like it all to stop now, even if he understands the “jealous” haters and is ready to forgive them all.
Amid rumors of his trouble in his marriage – which Hailey and Bieber have already shot down – his recent behavior at Coachella had once again raised eyebrows. At the music festival, the singer was seen smoking a joint next to his 15-year-old brother when Hailey appeared to intervene and whisked away her brother-in-law.
In response to the uptick in the scrutiny against him, Bieber took to Instagram to pen a lengthy post, commenting how “they treat me like a** out here, but if I remember that I am flawed too and God forgave me, it helps me to stop feeling better than those people who are mean and hurtful because when I’m really honest, I can be mean and hurtful too … My instinct is to be like, ‘Damn I wouldn’t gossip and spread lies about someone on the internet.”
Before the post, he had shared a footage of paparazzi hounding his every step with the caption “This has to stop.”
But in his latest post, he took a dig at the haters, pointing out that he understands why many are so bothered by as “it would be hard not to be jealous if I saw me and Hailey [Bieber] going so brazzzzyy.”
“It’s really up for us and that’s understandable why people can’t stand it. I don’t blame ’em. Hailey and I are the Jones’s that are impossible to keep up with.”
This was followed by another emotional post, with an image of a lion, where he implored for strength to fight what was being thrown at him and to forgive himself as well as those “who seek to use and abuse me simply because they want to capitalize off of me.” He then referred to Princess Diana’s death in a car accident that happened because she was trying to evade an army of paparazzi practically chasing her.
Is Bieber wrong about the paparazzi needing to know when to back off? Not really. While he did sign up for a life of practically no privacy as a celebrity, he is a human being at the end of the day with limits and deserves the basic level of dignity from paparazzi breathing down the necks of celebrities.
