Marjorie Taylor Greene seems to think thoughts and prayers are good enough for Donald Trump, too

In a Twitter post shared on March 22, Marjorie Taylor Greene asked her followers to pray for Donald Trump and his family.

As if Donald Trumps potential impending arrest couldn’t get any weirder, United States representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is asking her followers to send well wishes to the 76-year-old and his family as they endure the public ridicule stemming from his alleged role in silencing Stormy Daniels.

For context, the former United States president disclosed last week on Truth Social that he is facing a possible arrest in New York for paying Daniels $130,000 to stop the adult film star from revealing details about their affair to the public. Despite Trump’s post, no official statements were released to support his claims. As the alleged judgment day arrived on March 21, no arrests were made.

The following day, Greene took it upon herself to share a photo of Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, while requesting that everyone “pray” for them. Although it appears that Greene’s post was made with good intent, it immediately backfired as delighted onlookers expressed their opinions on the matter.

One individual chuckled at Greene’s remarks and mentioned that the prayers for Trump wouldn’t be working in his favor.

At the same time, another Twitter user shared that the only well wishes they sent to Trump and his family were praying that he is “held accountable” for his alleged actions.

A third person echoed the previous remarks by saying their own prayer.

While a social media user joined in on the action by simply uploading a handcuff gif.

This isn’t the only time Greene showed her support for Trump. Greene made headlines after she bashed potential presidential candidates that called the “political persecution” against Trump a “sideshow.” Greene went as far as to say they couldn’t run the country like Trump, whom she described as a “fighter.”
