David Beckham ‘toxic’ to son Brooklyn and the cause of his ‘appalling’ behavior

It has now become increasingly clear that all is not well in the Beckham household, and if the newfound revelations are anything to go by, the fault doesn’t rest entirely (or at all) on David Beckham’s son and daughter-in-law, Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz.

The rumors about a massive family feud were first sparked after Nicola and Brooklyn got married back in 2020, with sources alleging that the actress and Victoria got into a tiff over everything from the first dance to the wedding dress (where Nicola didn’t wear the one Victoria picked for her). As the rumor mill kept churning further quips about discontent in the family, both Brooklyn and Nicola gave separate statements in 2022 to assure all was well and everybody was on good terms. 

That lasted until 2024.

Last year, it was revealed that Brooklyn and Romeo (his brother) have not been talking for a while. It didn’t take much time for the rest of the alleged chaos to unravel as reports cropped up claiming that he has been estranged from his father and mother, who are also not big fans of his wife. And now, with the couple being a no-show at the former footballer’s big birthday bash, which comprised multiple events, a decision that has allegedly been deemed “appalling” by the family, as shared by a Page Six source.

Reportedly, Brooklyn is in close contact with Nicola’s parents, but both have stopped attending any family events, whether it is Christmas or Victoria’s fashion show in March 2025 that saw the entire family marking its presence. 

“Brooklyn’s family adores him and will always be there for him. They just can’t deal with this nonsense anymore. David and Victoria just want Brooklyn to remember who he is because this behavior isn’t him and isn’t how he was raised.”

But the story from Nicola paints a very different picture

As per a sensational report by TMZ, the Bates Motel star always “talks back” to David and Victoria and stands up for her husband against his “toxic” and “performative” parents. She can’t tolerate when David allegedly “verbally berate[s]” Brooklyn and “screams” at him on the phone 

According to the outlet, contrary to prior claims, Nicola and Brooklyn have “made themselves available for months and months to discuss all of the ongoing drama.” But their attempts at peace were disregarded because David and Victoria are anti-Nicola.

But as per a very pro-Victoria source’s revelations to The Sun, Victoria is living her “worst nightmare” as despite her efforts to end the feud, the family fall-out is not ending and it’s giving her “sleepless nights.”

So, what is really going on in the Beckham family sphere? There is definitely something brewing behind the scenes, and it reeks of the usual elite family drama. But unless it unfortunately teems over – like Nicolas Cage’s son getting sentenced for attacking his mother – we will probably never learn the full story.
