Stephen King tries his hand at offering nutritional advice, but it definitely isn’t for the faint of heart

Maybe stick to the writing.

Having long since established himself as one of the most successful, recognizable, and popular authors of the modern era, Stephen King has used the unstoppable rise of social media to broaden his horizons somewhat.

He can often be found taking to Twitter to share film and television recommendations with his millions of followers – something that might prove beneficial to Apple’s recently-renewed sci-fi Silo in the long run – or he’s taking aim at his favorite Republicans via pithy put-downs and scorching hot roasts.

However, nutritional advice may not be the strongest weapon in his arsenal, because how can anyone ever forget the whole microwaved salmon situation? Nevertheless, King has returned to the lawless wastelands of the online sphere to dispel another “winning” recipe, although it’s proven to be every bit as controversial as it sounds.

Depending on who you ask, a peanut butter and bacon sandwich is either a match made in heaven or a crime against humanity, but the recipe then segued into King wholeheartedly outlining the pros of the snack without giving second thought to the cons.

Was he done there? Of course he wasn’t, because there are even more important facts to be relayed to the masses.

Just when you thought it might be over at last, though, the legendary scribe returned with one final exclamation point.

Each to their own, but the prospect of combining peanut butter and bacon with double-sided carbs – and even some banana if you’re an utter madman – doesn’t really get the juices flowing.
