Suspected Tekashi 6ix9ine attackers have been arrested

6ix9ine now has one less thing to worry about.

The suspects who were allegedly responsible for attacking rapper 6ix9ine have been arrested. This comes after the musician was beaten up in a gym in Florida last week, before being immediately sent to the hospital.

Police reported that three men responsible for “beating the crap” out of the rapper were sent to custody and are being processed into a county jail. A representative for the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office told TMZ that detectives rounded up the three, named Rafael Medina, Octavious Medina Jr., and Anthony Mandonado. Hopefully, this means that 6ix9ine has one less thing to worry about as he continues to recover from the incident.

Also known by his real name, Daniel Hernandez, the 26 year-old was attacked in a South Florida gym on March 21. Security footage showed that he was beaten by several men after he left the sauna, and was unable to fight back due to being outnumbered. Gym staff reported hearing the commotion and notified the manager, police, and emergency services. By the time they arrived, the perpetrators left the scene.

It’s currently unclear if the attack was connected to the gang members that 6ix9ine was previously involved with. After being granted an early release from federal prison back in 2019, he helped the authorities put several of his gang members behind bars in exchange.

6ix9ine suffered injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back and received multiple wounds and gashes around his face, and was immediately sent to the hospital after the attack. It was reported that even after the incident, he has no plans to increase his security because he saw the incident “as a fluke.”
