“That’s the best”: Meghan Markle teases business venture with Princess Lilibet

Meghan Markle's podcast reveals a surprising business plan.

Meghan Markle recently hinted at a future business project she might do with her daughter, Princess Lilibet, which has sparked a lot of interest and speculation. The Duchess of Sussex shared this interesting idea during a recent episode of her podcast, “Confessions of a Female Founder,” where she talked with well-known businesswoman and mother Tina Knowles.

The conversation started with Knowles talking about her successful haircare line and how her daughter Beyoncé has been involved, but it slowly turned toward Markle’s own business dreams. Markle said, “I wonder if one day I’ll be in business with Lily and we’ll be building something, that’s the best.”

Beyond this business idea, the podcast also gave listeners a look into other parts of Markle’s life, especially her family’s love for beekeeping and their belief in natural remedies. Hello Magazine said Markle talked about her new hobby of keeping bees on her property and using the honey they produce to help with allergies, especially for her family. This fits with her belief in using natural solutions for health problems, something she openly discussed.

She explained how local honey can help reduce allergic reactions, sharing a story about giving some of her family’s honey to a friend whose child has bad allergies and seeing positive results.

Markle said, “just the other day, one of Archie’s little friends at school, this little girl has such bad allergies… ‘Hold on a minute, we have bees. Let me give you a jar of our honey.’

She continued, “We have a little apiary down there, three of them, and Archie has this little beekeeper suit, the whole hat on, and the gloves, it’s great. But I will say, for allergies, it’s helpful if it’s local honey. All the pollen, all the same things in your system, and then it desensitises allergies.”

The conversation also touched on similar practices in Beyoncé’s family. Beyoncé, who also keeps bees, has talked about starting her own beekeeping because of her daughters’ allergies. The similarities between Markle and Beyoncé’s approaches are clear, showing they both believe in natural remedies and taking active steps to care for their families’ health. Both women focus on sustainable and holistic living, not just in their businesses but also in their personal lives.

The Markle family’s life in Montecito, California, provides a beautiful setting for this story. Their large home, which includes a wine cellar, swimming pool, and cozy kitchen, offers a comfortable space for their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The property also has an orchard and two special palm trees. These palm trees, which grow from the same base, are meaningful to the family and even inspired the logo for Markle’s “As Ever” brand.

The image represents the couple’s strong bond and reminds them of their journey together. It’s in this peaceful, nature-filled setting that Markle imagines supporting Princess Lilibet’s future and possibly building a business partnership with her.
