What has Jonathan Majors been dropped from since his domestic assault charge?

He is losing it all.

Jonathan Majors epitomizes how objectively bad actions bear an enormous potential to ruin someone’s career. It was nearly a month ago when allegations of physical abuse were made against the 33-year-old actor, who was later taken into custody and charged with assault against a woman in New York.

Majors, as it turned out, brutally assaulted the woman (whose name hasn’t been revealed yet) by striking her face hard and strangling her to the point of causing immense pain and bruising. Understandably, this placed him on the receiving end of public wrath and opprobrium.

While he continued to receive an incredible amount of media and public backlash, there were players in the story who rushed off to his defense claiming and vouching for his innocence. One of which includes his attorney Priya Chaudhury who went to the extent of sharing a series of messages between Majors and the woman where the latter seemingly deemed the actor ‘innocent’ in the entire matter.

“Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone. We have provided irrefutable evidence to the District Attorney that the charges are false. We are confident that he will be fully exonerated,” became the unanimous statements of the actor’s attorneys condemning every claim of wrongdoing by the actor.

However, not everyone was willing to cut Majors some slack, as the Creed III actor lost quite a lot along the way, including promising stardom and some profitable collaborations. Ten days before the incident, Majors co-presented an award at the Academy Award ceremony with his Creed III co-star, Michael B. Jordan.

A few days later, the severe charges led many agencies to sever ties with him. This includes his Talent Management, Entertainment 360, and Public Relations Manager, the Lede Company, who reportedly took him off their books. He was also dismissed from representing major brands like Valentino at the Met Gala as well as the Texas Rangers, which also refused his participation in their ad campaigns.

His significant presence as a narrator of two major U.S. Army recruitment ads was also compromised and put on hold until he was proven innocent. As tough as it is for Majors to have lost a plethora of collaborations and partnerships, his current indictment dealt a major blow to his acting career, as he is being replaced from some of the leading roles in which he was set to appear.

For example, he is not even considered to be cast in upcoming projects such as The Man in My Basement and Otis and Zelma. Besides, the subject of his replacement as MCU’s formidable villain, Kang the Conqueror in the forthcoming Marvel project, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is still under consideration. Since the role has been Majors’ most memorable performance to date, losing it will immensely cost him a fortune and a promising career.

Since MCU has maintained its reticent on the subject of recasting the role of Kang, we can only speculate until further updates.
