The Joker Will Soon Learn Of Batman And Catwoman’s Wedding

If being attached to certain characters for a number of years has taught me anything, it's that none of us are entirely immune to what's known as "shipping." In my case, I'm one of the many fans who believes that if anyone is a perfect fit for Batman, it's most definitely Catwoman. Of course, arguments can be made for the likes of Talia al Ghul, Zatanna, Wonder Woman and several others, but nobody really complements Bruce Wayne in the way Selina Kyle does, at least in my view.

So, if you’ve been following the comics for at least the past year or so, then you’re well aware of how those two are now engaged. Surprisingly, they’ve managed to largely keep it under wraps, with only the Bat Family and a few others in the superhero community being privy to their romance.

Well, from what we can gather, it looks like Bruce and Selina may very well meet up with the worst wedding crasher possible. We say that because, before the festivities finally commence in the pages of Batman #50 on July 4, the Joker will get wind of said ceremony in a story to be included in DC Nation #0 in a story written by Tom King and illustrated by Clay Mann.

Set to be released on May 2 for 25 cents in comic shops and free digitally, the DC Nation sampler will include two other stories that lay the groundwork for what’s to come in other top titles. Just earlier today, we learned that Brian Michael Bendis and Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez will contribute a prelude to the upcoming Man of Steel miniseries. And, in addition to that, Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV and Joshua Williamson will set up Justice League: No Justice with assistance from artist Jorge Jiménez.
