Now that the Inhumans vs. X-Men crossover event is officially behind us (check out our review of the finale here), our attention swiftly turns to ResurrXion and all the new titles that come with. Suffice it to say, it’s a pretty exciting time to be an X-Men fan.

By now, it’s common knowledge that Wednesday, March 29 will see the release of two one-shots – X-Men: Prime #1 and Inhumans: Prime #1 – that are set to serve as springboards for various upcoming series. But what we didn’t know until today is that Marvel intends to spoil us even more on that very same day with ResurrXion Spotlight Sampler. And, best of all, it’s free!

In a nutshell, said sampler will include previews, creator interviews, character designs and more, so the 56-page comic sounds a little more substantial than the usual Marvel freebies that you find on the checkout counter at your local comic shop. If you’re on the fence concerning any of the new series launching, this is a safe way to see if any of them strike your fancy.

Apparently, X-Men Gold (the first issue of which we ran a preview for just yesterday), X-Men Blue, Royals, Cable, Iceman, Jean Grey, Generation X and Weapon X are but several of the titles that will be featured within. Given that, we have to wonder which others the House of Ideas plans to include.

As you can see from the cover art below, Ardian Syaf’s dynamic cover for X-Men Gold #1 is used as the basis for the sampler, with X-Men Blue and Royals in the bottom corner, so it’s very possible that those three titles may be the most thoroughly detailed. But no matter what route the publisher goes, no X-Men (or Inhumans) lover should pass this by.
