Marvel Comics Debuts Iron Man Suits For Luke Cage, Spider-Man And More

While Captain America's vibranium shield and Thor's mystical hammer Mjolnir are not to be sniffed at, it's hard to say that Iron Man's suit of armor isn't the coolest accessory owned by the Avengers' Big Three. Honestly, if you were a superhero, you'd want one, right? Well, in a new Marvel comic, Tony Stark is finally sharing his toys with his teammates and has designed some hi-tech suits for a bunch of his friends.

While Captain America’s Vibranium shield and Thor’s mystical hammer Mjolnir are not to be sniffed at, it’s hard to say that Iron Man‘s suit of armor isn’t the coolest accessory owned by the Avengers’ Big Three. I mean, if you were a superhero you’d probably want one, right? Well, in a new Marvel comic, Tony Stark is finally sharing his toys with his teammates and has designed some hi-tech suits for a bunch of his friends.

In Hunt for Wolverine: Adamantium Agenda #3 from writer Tom Taylor and artist R.B. Silva, an assembled group of heroes consisting of Iron Man, Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and X-23 have united to search for Mr. Sinister’s lab, which they believe contains Logan’s stolen DNA. In order to retrieve it, they must work out a way to approach Sinister’s secret island lair undetected. Cue Tony whipping out his big surprise: a customized suit of armor for each of the team members.

Check out the gang’s new looks in the panel below:

As you can see, Spider-Man’s version is pretty classical apart from the armor’s bulky nature. In fact, it’s reminiscent of the MCU’s Iron Spider outfit, as seen in Avengers: Infinity War. As for X-23, her armor is blue and chrome and retains the classic Wolverine headpiece – the metal dreadlocks coming out the back are a little peculiar, though.

Husband and wife duo Luke and Jessica, meanwhile, have suits that reflect their usual color schemes. Jessica’s looks similar to Tony’s except she’s got more of a purplish-pinkish shade in place of his bold red. Speaking of Infinity War, she also has similar mounted weaponry on her back to the Iron Man Bleeding Edge suit in the movie. Luke’s is in his classic mustard yellow coloring, meanwhile, and comes with the brilliantly old-school weapon of a large mace.

To see more of these suits in context, be sure to check out Hunt for Wolverine: Adamantium Agenda #3 online and in comic book stores now.
