Now due to hit PlayStation 4 on April 26 in Europe, a post via PlayStation Blog reveals that the shoot ’em up will be priced at £15.99 and is now available to pre-order. If you’ve yet to lay eyes on Housemarque’s bullet hell title, a new trailer has landed online today, featuring big guns and even bigger explosions.

As the creative minds behind Super Stardust, Dead Nation and Resogun – not to mention the upcoming MatterFall – there is perhaps no one better at the twin-stick formula than Housemarque, and below you can get the skinny on the core features underpinning the on-screen chaos.

  • Unleash a devastating array of firepower, shooting and looting Alien hordes in massively destructible environments.
  • Experiment with different player classes, earn skill upgrades and customize weapons and equipment to suit the way you play.
  • Fight alongside your friends, or become a ruthless mercenary to invade other players’ games and cause mayhem.

Alienation has placed its crosshairs on a April 26 release date for those in Europe. We’ll update this post when we learn of Housemarque’s plans for the North American release.
