Much has been said and pondered about the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed series. With the confirmation of a new sequel titled Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, that will hit stores this November, many are wondering who the main character will be and why.

Joystiq reports that Game Informer has a large spread in their upcoming June issue, which details the fact that the game will have three playable characters: Ezio, Altair and Desmond – the descendant of both who ties everything together. All that is known about the assassins’ storylines is that Ezio makes a trip to Constantinople during the rise of the Ottoman Empire.

Much more information should come out in the upcoming months and we’ll be sure to keep you updated when we know more. I for one am really interested in finding out what is going to happen next in the series’ cryptic storyline. The plot has always been intriguing and it’s one of the game’s major draws. I’m looking forward to seeing how they push it forward with this instalment.
