Blizzard are the marketing masters of the week with their announcement of a World of Warcraft annual pass. The company’s President and CEO, Mike Morhaime, made the official announcement during his keynote speech at BlizzCon 2011.

In addition to a year of World of Warcraft raiding, the annual pass (which can be billed monthly,) will also contain access to the Mists of Pandaria expansion’s beta and a new mount: Tyrael’s Charger. This is on top of the ability to download and play Diablo III for free.
