Ahead of Borderlands 2‘s North American release tomorrow, or its painfully longer international launch on Friday, Gearbox Software decided to give us a sneak peek of the action with the game’s official launch trailer.

The new trailer runs through some of what Borderlands 2 has in store for the four new Vault Hunters as they blast their way across Pandora to stop Handsome Jack (the CEO of the Hyperion Corporation) from awakening an evil alien known as “the Warrior”. Along the way players will get to use “bazillions of guns” in 4-player co-op, and meet up with original Borderlands‘ Vault Hunters; Roland, Lilith, Brick and Mordecai.

Check out the trailer embedded below, and look for Borderlands 2 for on September 18th for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
