On the eve of San Diego Comic-Con, Activision pulled back the curtain on the Zombies Mode within Call of Duty: Black Ops III, which will feature a colorful ensemble that includes Jeff Goldbum, Heather Graham, Neil McDonoguh, Ron Perlman and Robert Picardo as a mysterious character known as The Shadow Man.
That mainline cooperative mode will be entitled Shadows of Evil, whisking the undead action back to the 1940s replete with larger-than-life characters and older weaponry. But that’s not the only time period that Black Ops III‘s Zombies will be revisiting, after the publisher revealed that Treyarch’s shooter will also include a remastered version of the beloved Der Reise map from Call of Duty: World at War in the form of The Giant. It’s set to be included in the Collector’s Edition of the new installment, and you can check out a description of the map below.
Zombies returns in all of its undead glory with “The Giant,” a Nazi research facility featuring the weapon upgrading Pack-A-Punch Machine. Re-live the chaos of Treyarch’s classic “Der Riese” Zombies map, picking up the Zombies story with Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo where Origins left off.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III will deploy across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on November 6. Until then, tell us, are you excited to revisit one of the great maps of Zombies? Let us know below.
