Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Continuum Map Pack Arrives April 18

Infinity Ward is just about done with putting the finishing touches on the next map pack for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Continuum is out in just a couple of weeks, bringing with it the usual selection of four competitive multiplayer maps and a further addition to the shooter's co-op Zombies mode. Once again, one of the four multiplayer maps included is a reimagining of a war zone from past Call of Duty titles, and this time it's the Rust map from Modern Warfare 2 that's being given a new lick of paint.

Infinity Ward is just about done with putting the finishing touches on the next map pack for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Continuum is out in just a couple of weeks, bringing with it the usual selection of four competitive multiplayer maps and a further addition to the shooter’s co-op Zombies mode. Once again, one of the four multiplayer maps included is a reimagining of a war zone from past Call of Duty titles, and this time it’s the Rust map from Modern Warfare 2 that’s being given a new lick of paint.

As far as brand-new battlegrounds are concerned: Turista, a plush spa resort that’s bizarrely housed within the giant skeleton of an ancient creature, is one such example, which boasts tight interiors perfect for close-quarters combat as well as a three-lane design that enables those that prefer to sit back and pick their opponents off at range plenty of opportunities to do so.

Following that are Scrap and Archive, the former of which has the unusual distinction of being set in an abandoned scrapyard on Earth’s own moon, while Archive keeps the action closer to home by having teams fight it out in a futuristic art gallery that promotes various styles of play. Excess is the name being given to the new version of Modern Warfare 2‘s Rust map, which trades the former oil yard setting of the original for a luxurious penthouse perched atop a sprawling metropolis.

New Zombies chapter Shaolin Shuffle rounds out the rest of the package and tasks players with facing a new nightmare in “grimy 70s New York City.” If you can handle the funk, check out the trailer for it above, which also reveals that Pam Grier (Jackie Brown) is set to star as a new character.

Continuum will be available to download on PlayStation 4 from April 18 for $15 or at no extra cost for Season Pass holders. An Xbox One and PC release will follow at a later date.
