Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Rave In The Redwoods Zombies Map Gets Funky New Trailer

A new trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's Sabotage DLC has dropped today, giving fans of the shooter's Zombies Mode counterpart a fresh new look at what to expect from its upcoming Rave in the Redwoods campaign map. Taking cues from classic horror franchises like Friday the 13th, Infinity Ward's follow-up to Zombies in Spaceland brings the action back down to Earth in what seems like a quaint, secluded forest. The four playable characters this time around are Sally, Poindexter, Aj and Andre, although a fifth is briefly shown towards the end of the clip, and it appears to be none other than Kevin Smith. The director, actor and one-half of the Jay and Silent Bob comedy duo shows up in character, so don't be surprised if he doesn't utter a single word while he's mowing down the undead.

As has increasingly become the case since its original incarnation in Call of Duty: World at War, Rave in the Redwoods looks set to ramp up the outlandish nature of wasting increasingly irate waves of zombies, with the drug-fuelled rave shown in the trailer ratcheting the crazy up to immeasurable levels.

Of course, if you prefer your action to be a little more gritty and sci-fi oriented, don’t forget that Sabotage will also include four brand new multiplayer maps – Noir, Neon, Renaissance and Dominion – for you to sink your teeth into next week. The latter map is a re-imagining of the classic Afghan map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, replacing its sand-swept dunes and airplane graveyard with a suitably futuristic Mars setting.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare‘s Sabotage DLC is out January 31 for PlayStation 4 with other platforms to follow. Activision has yet to confirm when PC and Xbox One players can expect to see the content drop on their end, but we imagine it’ll be around the one month mark, mimicking the previous deal Microsoft had with the publisher. Stay tuned for an official date.
