Go Up Close And Personal With The Behemoth In New Evolve Gameplay Trailer

With the imminent release of Hunters and Monster, Evolve‘s first paid-for expansion pack, due to arrive on March 31, Turtle Rock has unveiled a new gameplay video that goes up close and personal with the new-fangled monster, the Behemoth.

Already available to those who pre-ordered the game on PC, next week’s DLC will be priced at $14.99 and introduce a quarter of new hunters across the game’s four playable classes — Trapper, Assault, Medic and Support.

You can get acquainted with the new members of the hunt down below.

Torvald: A half-human, half-weapon Assault character. Comes equipped with Back-Mounted Mortar Cannons and a Autofire Shotgun in order to inflict massive-damage up-close.

Crow: A Trapper with a pet Batray named Gobi that helps track down Monsters. Wields a Stasis Gun that can help slow down the Monster, as well as a Long Rifle that can blast through armor if charged up.

Slim: A Medic who is not quite human, but rather some type of hybrid between man and insect. Has a variety of tools in order to help out the hunters, including a Leech Gun, which drains strength from the Monster, and a Spore Cloud Launcher, which can mask the musk of the hunters.

Sunny: One of the original characters created for Evolve, this Support class character is not as dour as her teammates. Comes equipped with Shield Drones, which provide shield support for Hunters, and a Mininuke Grenade Launcher, which is the strongest hand-wielded weapon in the game.

As for Shear’s latest and literally greatest monstrosity, Behemoth is much larger than Evolve‘s other playable beasts. Boasting the ability to roll around the environment in the manner of a colossal boulder, Behemoth bears semblance to the Goliath in its fire-spewing abilities, though the video above shows that it is very much a force to be reckoned with.

Evolve‘s maiden expansion pack will arrive on March 31 along with the eSports-friendly Observer Mode.
