The threat of an evil-filled winter is steadily approaching our favourite high-definition video game devices. Cyanide Studio‘s licensed Game of Thrones role-playing game is less than three weeks away, meaning that Atlus is currently kicking its promotional plans into high gear.

Today’s advertising effort comes at us in the form of five new screenshots, showing some of the game’s major characters during moments of battle, with some intrigue and general swordplay mixed in.

This digital adaptation of George R. R. Martin‘s literary masterpiece, Game of Thrones, will be released on May 15. It will make its way onto the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
