Paradox Interactive and Deep Silver collectively released their latest genre-breaking title today. Previously an iPad-exclusive, Defenders of Ardania seeks to break the previously-established definition of the tower defense structure, with a new entry of its own: tower offense.

More than just a tower defense title, Defenders of Ardania places you and up to three of your friends in control of their own army. When you’re not just bolstering up your own defenses, you’ll have be sending out troops of your own to take out the attacking forces. Fans of the PlayStation Network exclusive, Comet Crash, should feel a sense of familiarity to the gameplay.
