Is Diablo III Making Its Way To Consoles?
Start your speculation! A Blizzard community manager going by the handle “Bashiok” confirmed a Diablo III console release through Twitter this morning. A fan had asked if he could confirm a console port, Bashiok replied “Yup. Josh Mosqueira is lead designer for the Diablo console project.”
The very casual response to a major question makes it a bit puzzling. While Blizzard has stated in the past that they were “looking into” a console port, there has been no official announcement as of yet.
While this could be a simple miscommunication, the internet has already started running with it as concrete fact. Sadly, that’s usually a sure fire sign that we’re wrong. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
